Bible Study comes in three forms: Instructional
Personal
- Conversational
All three are encouraged and supported at St. Peter's. |

Instructional - Thursday Night Alive begins at 6PM with a tasty, buffet-style dinner ($5/person offsets costs). Whether a hamburger and the fixings or a main-dish with veggies and salad, it is always fun to sit around a table, eating good food and making friends.
Beginning at 7PM, The Word is opened and we dig deep. Most lessons are on-going (6-10 sessions), so many attend every week. Prepared notes and reprinted Scripture provide good reference, plus there is plenty of room for notations... and there is always time for questions and follow-up. Each session ends at about 8PM. |
|
Personal - For many, there is nothing more powerful than personal study and prayer... just you, a Bible and a desire to seek God's will and truth. St. Peter's not only encourages personal study, St. Peter's helps you with it.
St. Peter's offers everything from bookmarks (with daily readings) to detailed reference materials that help make good use of your time and effort. Further, there are on-line links to Bible Study materials and a Library of personal study books. Getting into The Word, is both healthy and wise. |

Conversational - Small Groups get together once-a-week to discuss Scripture and how it applies to everyday life. These groups are open to new group members, any time. And, there are so many Small Groups, there is at least one that will fit in with your schedule.
Because the format is conversational, there is side benefit to Small Groups, and that is getting to know all the people in your group. A great way to apply God's Word and make new friends while you're at it. |
