Teams
St. Peter's has been shining the light of God's love here in Huntington Beach and beyond for more than 30 years. Our vision is clear: to be a vibrant, flourishing, multigenerational, Christ-centered community experiencing grace, practicing gratitude, and extending generosity, in order to glorify God in all things. As a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A), our Elders serve along with the Pastor to discern the ways God is calling us to love our neighbors and to serve God faithfully. The following teams serve to fulfill our mission.
The Growing Team
The Growing Team works to establish a variety of fellowship and learning opportunities to assist members and friends to grow in grace, understanding, and love as followers of Jesus. The focus is IN (Discipleship). This includes Crewmen, Sisters By-the-Sea, Discovery Groups, Let's Do Lunch, Children & Youth, and more.
The Going Team
The Going Team seeks to go out into the world and bear witness to the love of Christ. The focus is OUT (mission). This includes support for our local community youth, seniors, the homeless, immigrants creating new life in Huntington Beach, and other neighbors. We also support outreach opportunities in Los Angeles and globally through Christian partners. We strive to walk alongside our neighbors to meet them where they are.
